Selected Past Projects

1225 Woodward, Detroit

Acquired in 2012 and sold in 2019, this 60,000-square-foot office building in downtown Detroit is strategically located opposite the iconic Hudson's Site. Overlooked and neglected until Sequoia took ownership, the property underwent a transformation that ultimately yielded substantial financial returns for its investors. Its sale marks a significant transaction in Detroit's ongoing economic resurgence.

Colorado Springs

Purchased in 2011 and divested in 2013, Sequoia's 250-unit residential complex in Colorado Springs was a prime example of recognizing a golden opportunity and executing a successful upgrading of units. The sale yielded a return on equity significantly exceeding the original cost basis, making it a standout on investment. The complex's desirable location and upgraded amenities contributed to its successful lease-up and ultimate sale.
